Scores of higher learning institutions in Africa, including the University of Dar es Salaam, are due to introduce a new post‐graduate diploma programme in curriculum design and development. Education sector experts from Mauritius, Gambia, Djibouti, Burkina Faso, Kenya, Ethiopia, Code d'Ivore and Seychelles joined their local counterparts for a threeday workshop on the new plan. The initiative is to build a critical mass of experts in curriculum design and development.
