ZANEC urges CBU to heed fee reduction calls

COPPERBELT University management must heed calls by several stakeholders to reduce the sky-rocketing fees, says ZANEC board vice-chairperson Hilary Chipango. Chipango said the high tuition fees introduced by the CBU management would deny the majority of Zambians access to higher education. "It is very unfortunate that CBU management has failed to heed public pleas to reduce the newly-hiked tuition fees. We are very saddened as ZANEC bearing in mind that the fees are very high for many students at CBU.
